Biomaterials
Grown, harvested or reclaimed, and made to return to the cycle.
Mycelium grown from fungal networks and agricultural residue. Preserved moss, cork, wood wool and seagrass. Natural fibres like hemp, flax, jute and sheep's wool, pressed into felts and boards. Clay and lime plasters that breathe and balance humidity. And waste given a second life, from textile offcuts and paper pulp to sawdust and coffee grounds.
Naturally porous and low in embodied carbon, they absorb sound while adding a warmth and texture that synthetics can't imitate.
Available in various surface structures, natural tones and formats, as tiles, panels, plasters, baffles or sculpted shapes. No two pieces are quite the same.
-
IDUNA
Grooved fibre board
Dense plant-fibre board in deep green, with grooves cut across it. The grooves add a shadow line to the wall and depth to the absorption.
-
CEDRA
Dune relief
Natural fibre pressed into a soft, irregular relief. Every panel has a landscape of its own.
-
YRSA
Ribbed fibre panel
Pale plant fibre moulded into rounded ribs. Light in weight and soft to the touch.
-
MOSVA
Slotted clay block
A slotted clay block with a soft fibre core inside. The slots let sound in on two sides, and the core holds on to it.
-
FJELLA
Mycelium panel
Hemp and straw bound together by mycelium, grown rather than manufactured. Light, absorbing and compostable at the end of its life.
-
GRIMA
Pressed fibre panel
Pressed plant fibre in a pale, sandy finish, set in staggered lengths. Quiet to look at, and quieter to be in.
-
ALVA
Faceted wall panel
Angular panels in warm, earthy tones, fitted together like a mosaic. No two facets catch the light the same way.
-
DRAVA
Sculpted relief panel
Vertical panels with flowing, combed lines, like wind over sand. The relief runs from panel to panel and scatters sound along the way.
